FREE STANDARD SHIPPING (UPS GROUND) WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES:

    • offer does not apply to non-continental United States locations or international orders.  Regular rates still apply for these orders.

GUARANTEED ARRIVAL BY DECEMBER 23RD:

  • PLACE YOUR ORDER BY MONDAY DECEMBER 19th, 2 pm eastern time:
    • We will guarantee that orders placed by this time will be shipped with a guaranteed arrival of no later than December 23rd
    • Orders will ship via UPS Ground by default.  However, depending on the carrier's transit time, we will upgrade you to 2-day shipping at no extra charge, if necessary to obtain a guaranteed arrival date of Dec. 23rd.
    • Offer only applies to orders within the continental United States.  
    • Please note that guaranteed arrival means the shipping carrier guarantees the arrival date, providing there are no unforeseen circumstances such as weather delays.  Also note that delivery can be delayed if the recipient is not home to sign for the package when delivery attempt is made.  Brooklyn Tailors is not responsible for such delays.  We recommend tracking your package prior to its arrival, to ensure somebody is present to sign for your package.  Your shipping carrier may also offer other options to schedule your delivery or arrange to pickup at their local depot location.

EXTENDED RETURN / EXCHANGE POLICY:

  • EXTENDED RETURN WINDOW FOR HOLIDAY PURCHASES:
    • Purchases made in-store or through brooklyn-tailors.com made between November 25, 2016 and December 25, 2016 that have surpassed the 30 day return window can be returned or exchanged through January 10, 2017. 
    • Note that custom orders, altered ready to wear items, gift certificates, and final sale items are not returnable.
    • Items must be returned in-store, or postmarked by January 10th, 2017 to be eligible for return or exchange.

SHIPPING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES:

In-stock orders ship within 2 business days. Back-ordered or custom items will ship according to the specified turnaround time. A tracking number will be emailed to you when the shipment is processed. 
    • Web Order Shipping (USA): 
        • PO / APO / FPO / DPO Shipping: We can ship to post office boxes via USPS Priority Mail for the same charge as standard ground shipping. If your shipping address is a post office box, please select the standard ground option when placing your order, and we will automatically ship via USPS at no additional charge. Please note that orders shipping to post office boxes may take an additional 2-4 days processing time to ship, and that time in transit may take longer than standard ground shipping.
          • Sales Tax: We are required to charge sales tax on your purchase if it is shipping to an address in New York State. Orders shipping to any address outside of New York State will not be charged sales tax. All in-store purchases require sales tax by law.
          • Web Order Shipping (Outside of the USA): We will ship your international order for the flat rates mentioned during the checkout process. Most orders will go via Fedex or UPS but certain destinations will ship via USPS. If you would like, please contact us to verify shipping method before ordering, otherwise, we will automatically select the optimal shipping carrier after processing your order.
            • Sales Tax: No sales tax will be charged on international orders.

            EASY RETURNS AND EXCHANGES:

              • Brooklyn Tailors Return and Exchange Policy: Brooklyn Tailors gladly accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged merchandise purchased in our retail store or through our web store for full refund or exchange within 30 days of original purchase with original receipt or gift receipt (except for final sale items, see below). Returns cannot be accepted without a receipt. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment. Brooklyn Tailors does not provide returns or exchanges on any items that have been worn, altered, hemmed or otherwise changed.

              • Extended Holiday Return Policy: Purchases made in-store or through brooklyn-tailors.com made between November 25, 2016 and December 25, 2016 that have surpassed the 30 day return window can be returned or exchanged through January 10, 2017. 

              • Alterations and Final Sale Policy: Any items listed as final sale either on the Brooklyn Tailors web store or marked in their retail store are not eligible for returns or exchanges. Additionally, any items that have been altered either at the customer's request by Brooklyn Tailors or a third party are final sale.

              • Web Order Returns or Exchanges: To return or exchange your purchase, simply re-package the item(s) along with your receipt. Please note whether you are returning or exchanging (specify what you'd like to exchange for) and the reason for the return, and seal the box securely. This does not apply to any final sale items, which cannot be returned or exchanged. You can ship items to us using your preferred carrier.

                Brooklyn Tailors does not offer free return or exchange shipping.  However, for your convenience, we would be happy to supply you with a Fedex Ground return label for a flat rate of $8 per package, anywhere within the continental United States. Email contact@brooklyn-tailors.com to request a pre-paid FedEx return label. The $8 fee will be deducted from your refund. 
                Alternately, web orders may also be returned or exchanged at either of our Brooklyn Tailors locations. 

              • International Returns and Exchanges: You are responsible for the safe return and delivery of your purchase to us, and must handle all shipping charges when sending your purchase back to us. We strongly recommend shipping your return to us via a trackable and insured service such as UPS, FedEx or DHL. If you would like to exchange for another size or item, you will be responsible for an additional flat-rate shipping charge of $45. We will contact you upon receipt of your return to collect this payment.
